The PHP programming language

Welcome to the WorldofArtical. Today, in this article, I will tell you and discuss the information about The PHP programming language detail.

The PHP programming language

PHP programming language
The PHP Hypertext Pre-processor programming language was developed on time to design dynamic web pages by programming server-side scripts.

Originally designed by the Danish-Canadian programmer Rasmus Lerdorf, in 1994 based on the writing of a group of binary CGIs written in the C language. PHP was initially only made up of some macros that allowed working more easily in the creation of webpages.
In 1995 Rasmus Lerdorf added the parser and it was called PHP / F1 Version 2, it only recognized HTML text and some mSQL directives.
Contributions to the code are public after this date.
<html>
            <head>
                                       <title>Example</title>
</head>
 <body>
                       <php echo "             ;?">
         </body>
</html>
PHP is characterized by being a free and cross-platform language.
In addition to its ability to access many types of databases, it is also important to highlight its ability to create dynamic pages, as well as the possibility of
separating the design from the content of a website.
PHP is the solution for the construction of Webs independently of the Database and the Web server, valid for any platform. The final objective is to achieve the integration of HTML pages with applications that run on the server as processes integrated into it, and not as a separate process.
The PHP language has four great characteristics:
1.- Speed: PHP is not only fast when executed but it does not generate delays in the machine, therefore it does not require large system resources.
2.- Stability: PHP uses its own resource management system and has a sophisticated method of handling variables, creating a robust and stable system.

3.- Security: PHP handles different levels of security, these can be configured from the .ini file

4.- Simplicity: Users with experience in C and C ++ will be able to use PHP quickly. In addition, PHP has a wide range of libraries and allows the possibility of adding extensions. This allows its application in multiple areas, such as encryption, graphics, XML, and others.
Additional advantages of PHP
1.- PHP runs on (almost) any platform using the same source code,
2.- PHP syntax is similar to C syntax, therefore anyone with experience in C-style languages will be able to quickly understand PHP.
3.- PHP is fully expandable and modifiable. It is made up of the main system, a set of modules and a variety of code extensions.
4.- Many different interfaces for each type of server.PHP currently can be run under Apache, IIS, AOLserver, Roxen, and THTTPD. Another option is to configure it as a CGI module.
5.- It enables interaction with a large number of database engines such as MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, Informix, PostgreSQL, etc.
6.- PHP is Open Source, (open source) this means that it does not depend on any commercial company and that it does not require licenses.
